Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure relates power control in wireless communications, to methods for open loop power control for setting the initial uplink transmission power for a wireless device capable of operating in multiple frequency bands. The disclosure comprises methods for transmitting an uplink signal in an uplink channel of a first frequency band using an initial transmission power based on measurements of reference signals in said first frequency band when the received downlink channel is in a second frequency band not overlapping with the first frequency band. The disclosure also relates to corresponding devices and to a computer program for executing the proposed methods, and to a carrier containing said computer program. Further, embodiments relating to a host computer and activities therein, is also comprised in the current disclosure.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une commande de puissance dans des communications sans fil, des procédés pour une commande de puissance en boucle ouverte pour régler la puissance de transmission de liaison montante initiale pour un dispositif sans fil capable de fonctionner dans de multiples bandes de fréquence. L'invention comprend des procédés pour transmettre un signal de liaison montante dans un canal de liaison montante d'une première bande de fréquence à l'aide d'une puissance de transmission initiale sur la base de mesures de signaux de référence dans ladite première bande de fréquence lorsque le canal de liaison descendante reçu se trouve dans une seconde bande de fréquence ne chevauchant pas la première bande de fréquence. L'invention concerne également des dispositifs correspondants et un programme informatique permettant d'exécuter les procédés selon l'invention, ainsi qu'un support contenant ledit programme informatique. De plus, des modes de réalisation concernant un ordinateur hôte et les activités y afférant sont également inclus dans l'invention.
