CLAIMS

1. A method, performed by a target device (10), for handling positioning of the target device (10), wherein the method comprises:

- obtaining (320), from a network node (20), a sensor reporting configuration,

- obtaining (325) sensor measurements,

- determining (330) a reporting scope based on the obtained sensor measurements according to the obtained sensor reporting configuration,

- sending (340), to the network node (20), a measurement report comprising the sensor measurements according to the determined reporting scope, wherein the measurement report comprises a displacement of the target device relative to a reference position.

2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises:

- obtaining (300), from the network node (20), a capability request associated to sensor reporting,

- providing (310), to the network node (20), capability information associated to sensor reporting.

3. The method according to claims 1 or 2, wherein the sensor measurements

comprise Inertial Measurement Unit, IMU, measurements.

4. The method according to any of the previous claims, wherein the sensor reporting configuration comprises the reference position of the target device.

5. The method according to any of the previous claims, wherein the measurement report comprises the reference position of the target device.

6. The method according to any of the previous claims, wherein the sensor

measurements comprise an orientation of the target device at the reference position.

7. The method according to any of the previous claims, wherein the sensor

measurements comprise magnetometer measurements, light sensors and/or associated measurements.

8. A method, performed by a network node (20), for handling positioning of a target device (10), wherein the method comprises:

- sending (420), to the target device (10), a sensor reporting configuration,

- obtaining (430), from the target device (10), a measurement report

comprising sensor measurements according to a reporting scope determined by the target device (10) based on the sent sensor reporting configuration, wherein the measurement report comprises a displacement of the target device (10) relative to a reference position.

9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the method further comprises

- sending (400), to the target device (10), a capability request associated to sensor reporting,

- obtaining (410), from the target device (10), capability information

associated to sensor reporting.

10. The method according to claim 8 or 9, wherein the sensor measurements

comprise Inertial Measurement Unit, IMU, measurements.

1 1. The method according to any of the claims 8 to 10, wherein the sensor

measurements comprise the reference position of the target device (10).

12. The method according to any of the claims 8 to 11 , wherein the sensor

measurements comprise an orientation of the target device (10) at the reference position.

13. The method according to any of the claims 8 to 12, wherein the sensor

measurements comprise magnetometer measurements, light sensor

measurements and/or associated measurements.

14. The method according to any of the claims 8 to 13, wherein the method further comprises determining an absolute position of the target device (10) based on the obtained sensor measurements.

15. A computer program product comprising instructions, which, when executed on at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to carry out the method according to any of the claims 1 to 14.

16. A computer-readable storage medium, having stored thereon a computer program product comprising instructions which, when executed on at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to carry out the method according to any of the claims 1 to 14.

17. A target device (10), for performing a method for determining a location of the target device (10), wherein the target device (10) is configured to:

- obtain, from a network node (20), a sensor reporting configuration,

- obtain sensor measurements,

- determine a reporting scope based on the obtained sensor measurements according to the obtained sensor reporting configuration,

- send, to the network node (20), a measurement report comprising the sensor measurements according to the determined reporting scope, wherein the measurement report comprises a displacement of the target device (10) relative to a reference position.

18. The target device (10) according to claim 17, wherein the target device (10) is further configured to:

- obtain, from the network node (20), a capability request associated to

sensor reporting,

- provide, to the network node (20), capability information associated to sensor reporting.

19. The target device (10) according to claims 17 or 18, wherein the sensor

measurements comprise Inertial Measurement Unit, IMU, measurements.

20. The target device (10) according to any of the previous claims, wherein the sensor reporting configuration received from the network node (20) comprises the reference position of the target device (10).

21. The target device (10) according to any of the previous claims, wherein the

measurement report sent to the network node (20) comprises the reference position of the target device (10).

22. The target device (10) according to any of the previous claims, wherein the sensor measurements obtained by the target device (10) comprise an orientation of the target device (10) at the reference position.

23. The target device (10) according to any of the previous claims, wherein the sensor measurements by the target device (10) comprise magnetometer measurements, light sensor measurements and/or associated measurements.

24. A network node (20), for performing a method for determining a location of a target device (10), wherein the network node (20) is configured to:

- send, to the target device (10), a sensor reporting configuration,

- obtain, from the target device (10), a measurement report comprising

sensor measurements according to a reporting scope determined by the target device (10) based on the sent sensor reporting configuration, wherein the measurement report comprises a displacement of the target device (10) relative to a reference position.

25. The network node (20) according to claim 24, wherein the network node (20) is further configured to:

- send, to the target device (10), a capability request associated to sensor reporting,

- obtain, from the target device (10), capability information associated to sensor reporting.

26. The network node (20) according to claim 25 or 26, wherein the sensor

measurements obtained from the target device (10) comprise Inertial

Measurement Unit, IMU, measurements.

27. The network node (20) according to any of the claims 25 to 27, wherein the sensor measurements obtained from the target device (10) comprise the reference position of the target device (10).

28. The network node (20) according to any of the claims 25 to 28, wherein the sensor measurements obtained from the target device (10) comprise the orientation of the target device (10) at the reference position.

29. The network node (20) according to any of the claims 25 to 29, wherein the sensor measurements obtained from the target device (10) comprise magnetometer measurements, light sensor measurements and/or associated measurements.

30. The network node (20) according to any of the claims 25 to 30, wherein the

network node (20) is further configured to determine an absolute position of the target device (10) based on the obtained sensor measurements.
