Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide a liquid crystal alignment agent that makes it possible to form a liquid crystal alignment film that gives a liquid crystal display element that has favorable viewing angle characteristics and afterimage characteristics. [Solution] A liquid crystal alignment agent that contains a polymer that is the product of reacting starting materials that include a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride and a diamine. The starting materials used to synthesize the polymer include at least one compound selected from compounds represented by formulas (1)–(3) and also include compounds represented by formulas (A)–(C) and at least one compound selected from compounds represented by formula (D), provided that, when m in formula (1) is 8, no compound represented by formulas (A)–(C) need be included in the diamine, and the tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride need not be a compound represented by formula (D).
(FR) Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir un agent d'alignement de cristaux liquides qui permet de former un film d'alignement de cristaux liquides qui donne un élément d'affichage à cristaux liquides qui a des caractéristiques d'angle de visualisation et des caractéristiques d'image rémanente favorables. La solution selon l'invention porte sur un agent d'alignement de cristaux liquides qui contient un polymère qui est le produit de réaction de matériaux de départ qui comprennent un dianhydride d'acide tétracarboxylique et une diamine. Les matériaux de départ utilisés pour synthétiser le polymère comprennent au moins un composé choisi parmi les composés représentés par les formules (1) – (3) et comprennent également des composés représentés par les formules (A) – (C) et au moins un composé choisi parmi les composés représentés par la formule (D), à condition que, lorsque m dans la formule (1) est 8, aucun composé représenté par les formules (A) – (C) n'ait besoin d'être inclus dans la diamine, et que le dianhydride d'acide tétracarboxylique n'ait pas besoin d'être un composé représenté par la formule (D).
