Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide a side air bag device in which the rigidity of an air bag cushion is made adjustable using a simple configuration. [Solution] A cushion 106 is formed in a bag-like shape using an inner panel 106a, an outer panel 106b, and an intermediate panel 128 which is joined to a predetermined range of an edge of each of the panels. The cushion 106 is further provided with: a breakable seam 130 for joining edges of the inner panel 106a and the outer panel 106b while the intermediate panel 128 is folded into the cushion 106; and a first tether 116 which has a belt-like shape, has one end 116a joined, on the outer surface of the inner panel 106a, to the inner panel 106a at a position near the intermediate panel 128, and has the other end 116b joined to a predetermined portion of the outer surface of the inner panel 106a. The cushion 106 is configured so that a force generated when a vehicle occupant comes into contact with the first tether 116 breaks the seam 130, the intermediate panel 128 is released, the volume increases, and the inner pressure decreases.
(FR) Le problème décrit par la présente invention est de fournir un dispositif d'airbag latéral dans lequel la rigidité d'un coussin d'airbag est rendue réglable à l'aide d'une configuration simple. La solution selon l'invention porte sur un coussin 106 qui est formé en forme de sac à l'aide d'un panneau interne 106a, d'un panneau externe 106b et d'un panneau intermédiaire 128 qui est joint à une plage prédéterminée d'un bord de chacun des panneaux. Le coussin 106 est en outre pourvu : d'une couture frangible 130 pour joindre les bords du panneau interne 106a et du panneau externe 106b tandis que le panneau intermédiaire 128 est plié dans le coussin 106 ; et d'une première sangle de retenue 116 en forme de ceinture, a une extrémité 116a jointe, sur la surface externe du panneau interne 106a, au panneau interne 106a à une position proche du panneau intermédiaire 128, et a l'autre extrémité 116b jointe à une partie prédéterminée de la surface externe du panneau interne 106a. Le coussin 106 est configuré de telle sorte qu'une force générée lorsqu'un occupant du véhicule entre en contact avec la première sangle de retenue rompt la couture 130, le panneau intermédiaire est libéré, le volume augmente, et la pression interne diminue.
