Abstract:
(EN) The purpose of the present invention is to improve charge transfer efficiency of a device designed to cause electric charges to be transferred within a photodiode. A photoelectric conversion element in the solid-state imaging device is provided with multiple electrodes and multiple detection terminals. A driver supplies a potential to each of the multiple electrodes, thereby causing the photoelectric conversion element to simultaneously generate multiple electric fields in different directions and transfer of electric charges to a transfer-destination terminal from all non-transfer-destination terminals among the multiple detection terminals. A detection unit detects a signal corresponding to the amount of the electric charges transferred to the transfer-destination terminal.
(FR) Le but de la présente invention est d'améliorer l'efficacité de transfert de charge d'un dispositif conçu pour amener des charges électriques à être transférées à l'intérieur d'une photodiode. Un élément de conversion photoélectrique dans le dispositif d'imagerie à semi-conducteurs est pourvu de multiples électrodes et de multiples bornes de détection. Un circuit pilote fournit un potentiel à chacune des multiples électrodes, amenant ainsi l'élément de conversion photoélectrique à générer simultanément de multiples champs électriques dans différentes directions et à transférer des charges électriques vers un terminal de destination de transfert à partir de tous les terminaux qui ne sont pas de destination de transfert parmi les multiples terminaux de détection. Une unité de détection détecte un signal correspondant à la quantité des charges électriques transférées au terminal de destination de transfert.
(JA) フォトダイオード内で電荷を転送させる装置において、電荷の転送効率を高くする。 固体撮像装置内の光電変換素子には、複数の電極と複数の検出端子とが設けられる。ドライバは、複数の電極のそれぞれへの電位の供給により互いに向きの異なる複数の電界を同時に光電変換素子に生じさせて複数の検出端子のうち転送先に該当しない端子の全てから転送先の端子へ電荷を転送させる。検出部は、転送先の端子に転送された前記電荷の量に応じた信号を検出する。
