Abstract:
(EN) A spacecraft including a set of thrusters for changing a pose of the spacecraft. At least two thrusters mounted on a gimbaled boom assembly and are coupled together sharing the same gimbal angle. A model predictive controller (MPC) to produce a solution for controlling thrusters of the spacecraft by optimizing a cost function over a receding horizon using a model of dynamics of the spacecraft effecting a pose of the spacecraft and a model of dynamics of momentum exchange devices of the spacecraft effecting an orientation of the spacecraft. A modulator to modulate magnitudes of the thrust of the coupled thrusters determined by the MPC as pulse signals specifying ON and OFF states of each of the coupled thruster, wherein the ON states of the coupled thrusters sharing the same gimbal angle do not intersect in time. A thruster controller to operate the thrusters according to their corresponding pulse signals.
(FR) L'invention concerne un véhicule spatial comprenant un ensemble de propulseurs pour changer une pose du véhicule spatial. Au moins deux propulseurs sont montés sur un ensemble flèche à cardan et sont couplés ensemble en partageant le même angle de cardan. Un contrôleur prédictif de modèle (MPC) permet de produire une solution pour contrôler les propulseurs du véhicule spatial par optimisation d'une fonction de coût sur un horizon fuyant à l'aide d'un modèle de dynamique du véhicule spatial effectuant une pose du véhicule spatial et d'un modèle de dynamique de dispositifs d'échange de mouvement du véhicule spatial effectuant une orientation du véhicule spatial. Un modulateur permet de moduler les amplitudes de la poussée des propulseurs couplés déterminée par le MPC en tant que signaux d'impulsion spécifiant des états MARCHE et ARRÊT de chaque propulseur couplé, les états MARCHE des propulseurs couplés partageant le même angle de cardan ne se croisant pas dans le temps. Un dispositif de commande de propulseur permet de faire fonctionner les propulseurs en fonction de leurs signaux d'impulsion correspondants.
