(EN) A redox flow battery comprising a membrane and electrodes disposed in a compressed state on both sides of the membrane and sandwiching the membrane, wherein the membrane thickness x (μm) and the electrode compressibility y (%) satisfy the relationship (A) or (B). (A) y < x + 60, 30 ≤ y ≤ 85, and 5 ≤ x ≤ 60 are satisfied when the electrode is carbon felt. (B) y < 1.2x + 42, 10 ≤ y ≤ 85, and 5 ≤ x ≤ 60 are satisfied when the electrode is carbon cloth or carbon paper. y = {1-(thickness at compression/thickness before compression)} × 100.
(FR) L'invention concerne une batterie redox comprenant une membrane et des électrodes disposées dans un état comprimé des deux côtés de la membrane et prenant en sandwich la membrane, l'épaisseur de la membrane x (µm) et la compressibilité d'électrode y (%) satisfaisant la relation (A) ou (B). (A) y < x + 60, 30 ≤ y ≤ 85 et 5 ≤ x ≤ 60 sont satisfaites lorsque l'électrode est en feutre de carbone.
