CLAIMS

1. A transportable container for objects (A) having a substantially axially symmetrical shape such as firearm cartridges, ampoules, test tubes and the like, comprising a pair of half-shells (2) which can move between a first configuration, for the closure of an internal compartment (3) substantially shaped like a parallelepiped, delimited in said first configuration by a bottom surface (7), an upper surface (8) and four side walls (9a, 9b, 9c, 9d), and at least one second configuration, for free access to said compartment (3), characterized in that it comprises at least two trays (10) which can be accommodated detachably in said compartment (3) at a different distance from said bottom surface (7), at least one of said trays (10) being accommodatable according to one of two possible orientations, in which selectively one of the mutually opposite faces (10a, 10b) of the respective said tray (10) faces in a parallel arrangement said bottom surface (7), each one of said trays (10) being provided with a plurality of insertion seats (1 1) for respective objects (A) having a substantially axially symmetrical shape, arranged substantially identically in said trays (10) along a plurality of rows and columns which are equidistant according respectively to a first constant spacing (B) and a second constant spacing (C), the distance between the first said row and said facing and proximate side wall (9a) and/or the distance between the first said column and said facing and proximate side wall (9d) being different if measured in said first orientation or in said second orientation.

The transportable container according to claim 1, characterized in that in each one of said orientations each one of said trays (10) rests at least with its edges (10c, lOe) parallel to said rows against the respective said side walls (9a, 9c) of said compartment (3), the distance between the first said row and the corresponding said adjacent edge (10c, lOe) being different with respect to the distance between the last said row and the corresponding said adjacent edge (10c, lOe).

The container according to claim 2, characterized in that the distance between the first said row and the corresponding said adjacent edge (10c, lOe) is different with respect to the distance between the last said row and the corresponding said adjacent edge (10c, lOe) by a fraction of said first spacing (B).

The transportable container according to claim 1, characterized in that in each one of said orientations each one of said trays (10) rests at least with its edges (lOd, lOf) parallel to said columns against the respective said side walls (9b, 9d) of said compartment (3), the distance between the first said column and the corresponding said adjacent edge (lOd, lOf) being different with respect to the distance between the last said column and the corresponding said adjacent edge (lOd, lOf).

The container according to claim 4, characterized in that the distance between the first said column and the corresponding said adjacent edge (lOd, lOf) is different with respect to the distance between the last said column and the corresponding said adjacent edge (lOd, 1 Of) by a fraction of said second spacing (C).

6. The transportable container according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said fraction of said first spacing (B) and/or of said second spacing (C) is chosen equal to 1/2 or 1/3.

7. The transportable container according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that each one of said seats (1 1) comprises an axially symmetrical through hole (12) provided in the respective said tray (10).

8. The transportable container according to claim 7, characterized in that said hole (12) has a cylindrical or conical shape, chosen as a function of the type and shape of the axially symmetrical objects (A) to be accommodated in said compartment (3).

9. The transportable container according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that each one of said trays (10) has an

increased thickness around said seats (1 1) for structural stiffening.

The transportable container according to claim 7, characterized in that each one of said seats (1 1) comprises a sleeve having an axially symmetrical shape, which extends at right angles from at least one of the two said faces (10a, 10b) around each one of said holes (12), for the structural stiffening of the respective said tray (10).

1 1. The transportable container according to claim 10, characterized in that each one of said trays has a cylindrical or conical shape, chosen as a function of the type and shape of the axially symmetrical objects (A) to be accommodated in said compartment (3).

12. The transportable container according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that each one of said trays (10) comprises feet (13) for resting on said bottom surface (7) and/or on said underlying tray (10).

13. The transportable container according to claim 12, characterized in that each one of said trays (10) comprises, on the opposite side with respect to said feet (13), guiding and resting posts (14) for facilitated accommodation in said compartment (3).

14. The transportable container according to claim 13, characterized in that at least some of said feet (13) are crossed longitudinally by a channel for the insertion of respective said posts (14).
