Abstract:
(EN) A fiber laser system based in solitonic passive mode-locking, comprises a laser diode (10) to emit and deliver an optical signal of a first wavelength; a single-fiber laser cavity (50) comprising a dichroic mirror (51), a SESAM (53) and a polarization maintaining highly-doped active fiber (52), to receive the emitted signal and to emit a pulsed optical signal of a second wavelength, generating laser light in the form of mode-locked ultrashort pulses; a unit (11) coupling the laser diode (10) to the single-fiber laser cavity (50); and an isolator device (12) protecting the cavity (50) from back reflections. The properties of the fiber (52) are selected to provide dispersion, nonlinear coefficient, gain and state of polarization parameters required for solution of solitonic mode-locked emission. The solitonic mode-locked ultrashort pulses are comprised in a range of 100 fs < 10 ps with repetition rates of hundreds MHz to tens of GHz.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de laser à fibre en fonction d'un verrouillage de mode passif solitonique qui comprend une diode laser (10) permettant d'émettre et distribuer un signal optique d'une première longueur d'onde; une cavité laser à fibre unique (50) comprenant un miroir dichroïque (51), un SESAM (53) et une fibre active fortement dopée maintenant la polarisation (52), afin de recevoir le signal émis et d'émettre un signal optique pulsé d'une seconde longueur d'onde, générant une lumière laser sous la forme d'impulsions ultracourtes à verrouillage de mode; une unité (11) couplant la diode laser (10) à la cavité laser à fibre unique (50); un dispositif isolateur (12) protégeant la cavité (50) des réflexions arrière. Les propriétés de la fibre (52) sont sélectionnées de sorte à fournir une dispersion, un coefficient non linéaire, un gain et un état de paramètres de polarisation requis pour une solution d'émission à verrouillage de mode solitonique. Les impulsions ultracourtes à verrouillage de mode solitonique sont comprises dans une plage de 100 fs < 10 p avec des taux de répétition allant de centaines de MHz à des dizaines de GHz.
