Abstract:
(EN) A method for non-invasive castration of a male or female animal is disclosed. The method comprises selective interruption of the blood supply to the animal's gonadal tissue and the selective interruption is sufficient to necrotize said gonadal tissue. The selective interruption is accomplished by delivering an effective dose of focused radiation or focused pressure waves to a selected region being the spermatic cords in the male animal, or being the suspensory ligament of the ovaries in the female animal.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de castration non invasive d'un animal mâle ou femelle. Le procédé comprend l'interruption sélective de l'alimentation en sang vers le tissu gonadique de l'animal et l'interruption sélective est suffisante pour nécroser ledit tissu gonadique. L'interruption sélective est réalisée par l'administration d'une dose efficace d'ondes de rayonnement focalisées ou de pression focalisée à une région sélectionnée qui est les cordons spermatiques dans l'animal mâle, ou qui est le ligament suspenseur des ovaires dans l'animal femelle.
