Abstract:
(DE) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abgasnachbehandlungssystem für einen Verbrennungsmotor (10), insbesondere für einen mittels eines Abgasturboladers (30) aufgeladenen und mittels Zündkerzen (16) fremdgezündeten Verbrennungsmotor (10). Dabei sind in einer mit einem Auslass (12) des Verbrennungsmotors (10) verbundenen Abgasanlage (20) in motornaher Position ein Partikelfilter (24) und stromabwärts des Partikelfilters (24) ein erster Drei-Wege-Katalysator (26) angeordnet. In Unterbodenlage des Kraftfahrzeuges ist stromabwärts des ersten Drei-Wege-Katalysators (26) ein weiterer Drei-Wege-Katalysator (28) angeordnet. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass ab einem Motorstart ein Abgasbrenner (34) aktiv ist, mit welchem stromabwärts des Partikelfilters (24) heißes Abgas in die Abgasanlage (20) eingeleitet wird, um zumindest eine der Drei-Wege-Katalysatoren (26, 28) nach dem Kaltstart möglichst schnell auf eine Light-Off-Temperatur aufzuheizen und somit eine effiziente Abgasnachbehandlung zu ermöglichen. Der Abgasbrenner (34) kann abgeschaltet werden, wenn zumindest einer der beiden Drei-Wege-Katalysatoren (26, 28) seine Light-Off-Temperatur erreicht hat.
(EN) The invention relates to an exhaust gas aftertreatment system for an internal combustion engine (10), in particular for an internal combustion engine (10) charged by means of an exhaust gas turbocharger (30) and spark-ignited by means of spark plugs (16). A particulate filter (24) and a first three-way catalytic converter (26) downstream of the particulate filter (24) are arranged in a position close to the engine in an exhaust gas system (20) connected to an outlet (12) of the internal combustion engine (10). A further three-way catalytic converter (28) is arranged in the underbody position of the motor vehicle, downstream of the first three-way catalytic converter (26). According to the invention, an exhaust gas burner (34) is active from the start of the engine, introducing hot exhaust gas into the exhaust gas system (20), downstream of the particulate filter (24), in order to heat at least one of the three-way catalytic converters (26, 28) to a light-off temperature, as quickly as possible after the cold start, thereby allowing an efficient exhaust gas aftertreatment. The exhaust gas burner (34) can be switched off when at least one of the two three-way catalysts (26, 28) has reached its light-off temperature.
(FR) L’invention concerne un système de retraitement des gaz d’échappement d’un moteur à combustion interne (10), en particulier d’un moteur à combustion interne (10) suralimenté par un turbocompresseur à gaz d’échappement (30) et à allumage commandé par des bougies (16). Un filtre à particules (24) et un premier catalyseur trois voies (26) monté en aval du filtre à particules (24) sont agencés à proximité du moteur dans un système d’échappement (20) relié à une sortie (12) du moteur à combustion interne (10). Un autre catalyseur trois voies (28) est agencé sous le plancher du véhicule automobile en aval du premier catalyseur trois voies (26). Selon l’invention, un brûleur de gaz d’échappement (34) est actif à partir d'un démarrage du moteur et introduit du gaz d’échappement chaud dans le système d’échappement (20) en aval du filtre à particules (24), pour chauffer au moins un des catalyseurs trois voies (26, 28) à une température d’amorçage le plus rapidement possible après le démarrage à froid, et permettre ainsi un retraitement efficace des gaz d’échappement. Le brûleur de gaz d’échappement (34) peut être désactivé quand au moins un des deux catalyseurs trois voies (26, 28) a atteint sa température d’amorçage.
