Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a process for converting one or more cyclic ethylene ureas into corresponding ethylene amines and carbon dioxide. In the process, water is contacted with one or more cyclic alkylene urea compounds comprising one or more cyclic alkylene urea moieties in a reaction vessel at a temperature of 150 to 400°C, optionally in the presence of an amine compound selected from the group of primary amines, cyclic secondary amines and bicyclic tertiary amines. The mole ratio of water to cyclic alkylene urea moieties is in the range of from 0.1 to 20. In the reaction, at least a portion of the cyclic alkylene urea moieties are converted to corresponding alkylenediamine moieties and carbon dioxide, and the carbon dioxide is removed from the liquid reaction mixture in a stripping vessel by feeding a stripping fluid to the stripping vessel, and removing a carbon dioxide-containing stripping fluid.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de conversion d'une ou de plusieurs urées cycliques d'éthylène en éthylène amines correspondantes et en dioxyde de carbone. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à mettre en contact de l'eau avec un ou plusieurs composés d'alkylène-urée cyclique comprenant une ou plusieurs fractions d'alkylène-urée cyclique dans une cuve de réaction à une température de 150 à 400 °C, éventuellement en présence d'un composé aminé choisi dans le groupe des amines primaires, des amines secondaires cycliques et des amines tertiaires bicycliques. Le rapport molaire entre l'eau et les fractions d'alkylène-urée cyclique se situe dans la plage de 0,1 à 20. Dans la réaction, au moins une partie des fractions d'alkylène-urée cyclique est convertie en fractions alkylènediamine correspondantes et en dioxyde de carbone, et le dioxyde de carbone est éliminé du mélange réactionnel liquide dans un récipient de stripage par l'introduction d'un fluide de stripage dans ledit récipient, et l'élimination d'un fluide de stripage contenant du dioxyde de carbone.
