Abstract:
(EN) Aedes albopictus and a production method therefor, Aedes albopictus being artificially infected with wPip of Culex molestus, and the method for producing Aedes albopictus comprising: artificially infecting Aedes albopictus with wPip of Culex molestus. By means of the method, Aedes albopictus having a high CI intensity (for example, 90-100%) which is artificially infected with wPip of Culex molestus is obtained. Aedes albopictus or the Aedes albopictus obtained by means of the method are released in nature such that the egg laying rate of Aedes albopictus may be greatly reduced, thereby effectively controlling the generation of offspring and the size of the population of Aedes albopictus, and effectively reducing the occurrence and spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever.
(FR) L'invention concerne des Aedes albopictus et leur procédé de production, les Aedes albopictus étant artificiellement infectés par wPip de Culex molestus, et le procédé de production d'Aedes albopictus comprenant : l'infection artificielle des Aedes albopictus avec wPip de Culex molestus. Au moyen du procédé, des Aedes albopictus ayant une intensité de CI élevée (par exemple, de 90 à 100 %) qui sont artificiellement infectés par wPip de Culex molestus sont obtenus. Les Aedes albopictus ou les Aedes albopictus obtenus au moyen du procédé sont libérés dans la nature de telle sorte que le taux de ponte des œufs des Aedes albopictus peut être fortement réduit, ce qui permet de contrôler efficacement la génération de progéniture et la taille de la population des Aedes albopictus, et de réduire efficacement l'apparition et la propagation de maladies véhiculées par les moustiques telles que la dengue.
