Abstract:
(EN) Disclosed herein are a series of compounds based on Formula (I). These compounds comprise perylene core which has been extended with optionally functionalised imidazoles at the 3,4;9,10 positions. The compounds of Formula (I) can be functionalised at two positions on the perylene core, such as the 1,6 or 1,7 positions. Also disclosed herein are compositions comprising said compounds, methods of forming said compounds and potential applications of said compounds, such as applying the compounds as a dye whose absorbance and fluorescence spectrum are red-shifted.
(FR) L'invention concerne une série de composés basés sur la formule (I). Ces composés comprennent un noyau de pérylène qui a été étendu avec des imidazoles éventuellement fonctionnalisés au niveau des positions 3,4 ; 9,10. Les composés de formule (I) peuvent être fonctionnalisés en deux positions sur le noyau de pérylène, telles que les positions 1,6 ou 1,7. L'invention concerne également des compositions comprenant lesdits composés, des procédés de formation de ces derniers et des applications potentielles desdits composés, tels que l'application des composés en tant que colorant dont l'absorbance et le spectre de fluorescence sont décalés vers le rouge.
