Abstract:
(EN) A controller (144) of a robotic material handling system (100) performs a method that conveys articles (104) from a pile within a confined space. One or more articles per operation are robotically moved onto a vertically-positionable nose conveyor surface (214) conveys toward a narrower rearward conveyor (212). Controller detects a jammed article that is at least partially supported by the nose conveyor and that has failed to fully convey onto the rearward. The controller attempts to dislodge the jammed article by causing at least one of: (i) vertically repositioning the nose conveyor surface; and (ii) activating at least one of the two or more parallel conveyors of the nose conveyor surface to run in a forward direction. After the attempt to dislodge, the controller activates at least one parallel conveyor (801-805) that is contact with the jammed article in a rearward direction.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de commande (144) d'un système robotisé de manutention de matériaux (100) exécutant un procédé qui assure l'acheminement d'articles (104) depuis une pile dans un espace confiné. Un ou plusieurs articles par opération sont déplacés de manière robotisée sur la surface d'un convoyeur avant pouvant être positionnée verticalement (214) et qui les transporte vers un convoyeur arrière plus étroit (212). Le dispositif de commande détecte un article coincé qui est au moins partiellement supporté par le convoyeur avant et qui n'a pas pu être complètement transporté vers l'arrière. Le dispositif de commande tente de débloquer l'article coincé en réalisant au moins l'une des actions suivantes : (i) repositionner verticalement la surface du convoyeur avant ; et (ii) activer au moins l'un des deux convoyeurs parallèles ou plus de la surface du convoyeur avant pour qu'il aille vers l'avant. Après la tentative de déblocage, le dispositif de commande active au moins un convoyeur parallèle (801-805) qui est en contact avec l'article coincé vers l'arrière.
