Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods are provided for decentralized train control. A decentralized train system may include a plurality of wayside control units, configured for placement on or near tracks in a railway network, and one or more train-mounted units, each of which being configured for use in a particular train. Each wayside control unit may obtain information corresponding to each train that passes within its communication range, and provide obtained train-related information to each train-mounted unit passing within its communication range. Each train-mounted unit may configured to receive train-related information from each wayside control unit that comes within its communication range, process the received train-related information, assess based on the processing of the train-related information conditions relating to operation of train within the railway network, and when at least one condition meets one or more particular criteria, perform or cause performing one or more responsive actions.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de commande décentralisée de train. Un système de train décentralisé peut comprendre une pluralité d'unités de commande en bordure de voie, configurées pour être placées sur ou à proximité de voies dans un réseau ferroviaire, et une ou plusieurs unités montées sur train, chacune étant configurée pour être utilisée dans un train particulier. Chaque unité de commande en bordure de voie peut obtenir des informations correspondant à chaque train qui passe dans sa zone de communication, et fournir des informations relatives au train obtenues à chaque unité montée sur train passant dans sa zone de communication. Chaque unité montée sur train peut être configurée pour recevoir des informations relatives à un train provenant de chaque unité de commande en bordure de voie qui arrive dans sa zone de communication, traiter les informations relatives au train reçues, évaluer sur la base du traitement des conditions d'informations relatives au train concernant le fonctionnement du train à l'intérieur du réseau ferroviaire, et lorsqu'au moins une condition satisfait à un ou plusieurs critères particuliers, effectuer ou faire exécuter une ou plusieurs actions correctives.
