Abstract:
(EN) Aspects of the present disclosure relate to deriving spatial receive parameters for quasi-colocation at a user equipment (UE). An exemplary method generally includes receiving a plurality of beams from a base station in a plurality of coarse directions, determining, based on the plurality of beams, a first spatial colocation parameter, transmitting an indication of a coarse direction associated with a beam having a highest receive strength of the plurality of beams, receiving a plurality of second beams from the base station based on the indication, the plurality of second beams having a narrower beam width than the plurality of beams and covering a beam width of the beam associated with the indicated coarse direction, determining, based on the plurality of second beams, a second spatial colocation parameter, transmitting an indication of the second beam having a highest receive strength, and refining at least one of the first or second spatial colocation parameters.
(FR) Certains aspects de la présente invention concernent la dérivation de paramètres de réception spatiale pour quasi-colocation au niveau d'un équipement d'utilisateur (UE). Un procédé donné à titre d'exemple consiste globalement à recevoir une pluralité de faisceaux en provenance d'une station de base dans une pluralité de directions approximatives, à déterminer, en fonction de la pluralité de faisceaux, un premier paramètre de colocalisation spatiale, à transmettre une indication d'une direction approximative associée à un faisceau ayant une intensité maximale de réception de la pluralité de faisceaux, à recevoir une pluralité de seconds faisceaux en provenance de la station de base en fonction de l'indication, la pluralité de seconds faisceaux ayant une largeur de faisceau plus étroite que la pluralité de faisceaux et couvrant une largeur de faisceau du faisceau associé à la direction approximative indiquée, à déterminer, en fonction de la pluralité de seconds faisceaux, un second paramètre de colocalisation spatiale, à transmettre une indication du second faisceau ayant une intensité maximale de réception et à affiner au moins l'un des deux paramètres de colocalisation spatiale.
