Abstract:
(EN) Methodologies, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for generating routes for aerial drones. A computing system generates a first navigation route to guide a first aerial drone from an origin location to a destination location which includes passing through a limited coverage zone. The aerial drone is configured to periodically transmit information to a remote computing device. The computing system also generates the second navigation route to guide a second aerial drone near the limited coverage zone and within communication range of the first aerial drone when the first aerial drone is passing through the limited coverage zone. Relay instructions are also generated by the computing system to prompt the first aerial drone to relay the information via the second aerial drone to the remote computing device while the first aerial drone is in the limited coverage zone.
(FR) L'invention concerne des méthodologies, des systèmes et des supports lisibles par ordinateur pour générer des itinéraires destinés à des drones aériens. Un système informatique génère un premier itinéraire de navigation afin de guider un premier drone aérien d'un emplacement d'origine à un emplacement de destination qui comprend le passage à travers une zone de couverture limitée. Le drone aérien est configuré pour transmettre périodiquement des informations à un dispositif informatique distant. Le système informatique génère également le second itinéraire de navigation afin de guider un second drone aérien à proximité de la zone de couverture limitée et dans la portée de communication du premier drone aérien lorsque le premier drone aérien passe à travers la zone de couverture limitée. Des instructions de relais sont également générées par le système informatique pour inviter le premier drone aérien à relayer les informations par l'intermédiaire du second drone aérien au dispositif informatique distant tandis que le premier drone aérien se trouve dans la zone de couverture limitée.
