Abstract:
(EN) A system for remotely measuring the characteristics of water passing through a plumbing control device (PCD) includes a sensor within the interior of the PCD. The sensor is configured to measure characteristics of the water to obtain measured data. The sensor is also linked to a microcontroller of the PCD. An antenna board is linked, and configured to transmit power, to both the microcontroller and the sensor. A mobile device is configured to locate the antenna board. The mobile device transmits power to the antenna board which, in turn, transmits power to the microcontroller and the sensor. W hen power is not being transmitted from the antenna board, the microcontroller and the sensor are powered off.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système permettant d'évaluer à distance les caractéristiques de l'eau passant à travers un dispositif de commande de plomberie (PCD) comprenant un capteur à l'intérieur du PCD. Le capteur est configuré pour mesurer des caractéristiques de l'eau afin d'obtenir des données mesurées. Le capteur est également relié à un microcontrôleur du PCD. Une carte d'antenne est reliée, et configurée pour transmettre de l'énergie, à la fois au microcontrôleur et au capteur. Un dispositif mobile est configuré pour situer la carte d'antenne. Le dispositif mobile transmet de l'énergie à la carte d'antenne qui, à son tour, transmet de l'énergie au microcontrôleur et au capteur. Lorsque l'énergie n'est pas transmise à partir de la carte d'antenne, le microcontrôleur et le capteur sont mis hors tension.
