Abstract:
(EN) Examples implementations relate to determining path confidence for a vehicle. An example method includes receiving a request for a vehicle to navigate a target location. The method further includes determining a navigation path for the vehicle to traverse a first segment of the target location based on a plurality of prior navigation paths previously determined for traversal of segments similar to the first segment of the target location. The method also includes determining a confidence level associated with the navigation path. Based on the determined confidence level, the method additionally includes selecting a navigation mode for the vehicle from a plurality of navigation modes corresponding to a plurality of levels of remote assistance. The method further includes causing the vehicle to traverse the first segment of the target location using a level of remote assistance corresponding to the selected navigation mode for the vehicle.
(FR) Des exemples de modes de réalisation concernent la détermination de la confiance en un trajet pour un véhicule. Un procédé donné à titre d'exemple consiste à recevoir une demande pour qu'un véhicule navigue sur un emplacement cible. Le procédé comprend en outre la détermination d'un trajet de navigation pour que le véhicule traverse un premier segment de l'emplacement cible sur la base de plusieurs trajets de navigation antérieurs déterminés précédemment pour la traversée de segments similaires par rapport au premier segment de l'emplacement cible. Le procédé comprend également la détermination d'un niveau de confiance associé au trajet de navigation. Sur la base du niveau de confiance déterminé, le procédé comprend en outre la sélection d'un mode de navigation pour le véhicule parmi plusieurs modes de navigation correspondant à plusieurs niveaux d'assistance à distance. Le procédé consiste en outre à amener le véhicule à traverser le premier segment de l'emplacement cible à l'aide d'un niveau d'assistance à distance correspondant au mode de navigation sélectionné pour le véhicule.
