Abstract:
(EN) A room temperature curable encapsulation/potting material composition comprising: (i) at least one condensation curable silyl terminated polymer having at least one, Si- hydroxyl functional groups per molecule; (ii) a cross-linker selected from the group of - silanes having at least 2 hydrolysable groups, alternatively at least 3 hydrolysable groups per molecule group; and/or - silyl functional molecules having at least 2 silyl groups, each silyl group containing at least one hydrolysable group. (iii) a condensation catalyst selected from the group of titanates and zirconates characterized in that: - the molar ratio of the sum of moisture present in the formulation, and total silicon bonded hydroxyl groups: the catalyst is > 7:1; and (a) when the molar ratio of the sum of moisture present in the formulation, and total silicon bonded hydroxyl groups: the catalyst is from > 7:1 to 10:1 the molar ratio of total silicon bonded hydroxyl groups : total hydrolysable groups is between 0.1:1 to 0.3:1 and (b) when the molar ratio of the sum of moisture present in the formulation, and total silicon bonded hydroxyl groups: the catalyst is from >10:1 the molar ratio of total silicon bonded hydroxyl groups : total hydrolysable groups is between 0.1:1 to 0.5:1.
(FR) L'invention concerne une composition de matériau d'encapsulation/enrobage durcissable à température ambiante, comportant : (i) au moins un polymère à terminaison silyle durcissable par condensation possédant au moins un groupe fonctionnel hydroxyle Si par molécule ; (ii) un agent de réticulation choisi dans le groupe - des silanes possédant au moins 2 groupes hydrolysables, en variante au moins 3 groupes hydrolysables, par groupe de molécules ; et/ou - des molécules fonctionnelles silyle possédant au moins 2 groupes silyle, chaque groupe silyle contenant au moins un groupe hydrolysable ; (iii) un catalyseur de condensation choisi dans le groupe des titanates et des zirconates, caractérisé en ce que : le rapport molaire de la somme de l'humidité présente dans la formulation et des groupes hydroxyle liés au silicium totaux par opposition au catalyseur est de > 7:1 ; et (a) lorsque le rapport molaire de la somme de l'humidité présente dans la formulation et des groupes hydroxyle liés au silicium totaux par opposition au catalyseur est de > 7:1 à 10:1, le rapport molaire des groupes hydroxyle liés au silicium totaux par opposition aux groupes hydrolysables totaux est compris entre 0,1:1 et 0,3:1, et (b) lorsque le rapport molaire de la somme de l'humidité présente dans la formulation et des groupes hydroxyle liés au silicium totaux par opposition au catalyseur est de > 10:1, le rapport molaire des groupes hydroxyle liés au silicium totaux par opposition aux groupes hydrolysables totaux est compris entre 0,1:1 et 0,5:1.
