Abstract:
(EN) Acoustic, structures in which acoustic septa are located in the angled cells of a honeycomb for reducing the noise generated from a source. The honeycomb used to form the acoustic structure has cell walls that extend at an angle relative to the honeycomb edges such that the depth of the honeycomb cells is greater than the honeycomb core thickness. The acoustic sepia are formed by inserting planar acoustic inserts into the angled honeycomb cells to form septum caps which are friction-locked within the angled cells and then permanently bonded in place.
(FR) L'invention concerne des structures acoustiques dans lesquelles des cloisons acoustiques sont placées dans des alvéoles inclinées d'un nid d'abeilles afin de réduire le bruit généré à partir d'une source. Le nid d'abeilles utilisé pour former la structure acoustique possède des parois d'alvéoles qui s'étendent en formant un angle par rapport aux bords du nid d'abeilles, de telle sorte que la profondeur des alvéoles du nid d'abeilles est supérieure à l'épaisseur du centre des alvéoles d'un nid d'abeilles. Les cloisons acoustiques sont formées par insertion d'inserts acoustiques plans dans les alvéoles inclinées du nid d'abeilles afin de former des capuchons de cloisons qui sont tenus par friction à l'intérieur des alvéoles inclinées puis fixés à demeure sur place.
