Abstract:
(EN) In one aspect, a phosphor converted white light LED comprising a narrow green phosphor rather than a conventional broad green phosphor may simultaneously exhibit high R9, and high Luminance Efficacy of Radiation, optionally without use of a deep red phosphor to maintain desired red color rendering. In another aspect, a phosphor converted white light LED comprising a narrow green phosphor rather than a conventional broad green phosphor may provide an emission spectrum exhibiting a significant dip in the yellow region of the spectrum and thereby provide high red-green contrast without use of a filter. The yellow dip may be shallower than in conventional devices, and the device may therefore be brighter, while maintaining desired CRI and R9.
(FR) Selon un aspect, une diode électroluminescente (DEL) blanche convertie par luminophore comprenant un luminophore vert étroit plutôt qu'un luminophore vert large classique peut simultanément présenter un R9 élevé et une efficacité de luminance élevée d'un rayonnement, éventuellement sans utilisation d'un luminophore rouge foncé pour maintenir le rendu souhaité de couleur rouge. Selon un autre aspect, une DEL blanche convertie par luminophore comprenant un luminophore vert étroit plutôt qu'un luminophore vert large classique peut fournir un spectre d'émission présentant une diminution significative dans la région jaune du spectre et ainsi fournir un contraste rouge-vert élevé sans utilisation d'un filtre. La diminution du jaune peut être moins importante que dans les dispositifs classiques, et le dispositif peut donc être plus clair, tout en maintenant l'IRC (indice de rendu des couleurs) et le R9 souhaités.
