Abstract:
(EN) Described herein is a conversation engine that can be used in a system such as a personal digital assistant or search engine that combines a dynamic knowledge graph built during execution of a request and one or more static knowledge graphs holding long term knowledge. The conversation engine comprises a state tracker that holds the dynamic knowledge graph representing the current state of the conversation, a policy engine that selects entities in the dynamic knowledge graph and executes actions provided by those entities to move the state of the conversation toward completion, and a knowledge graph search engine to search the static knowledge graph(s). The conversation is completed by building the dynamic knowledge graph over multiple rounds and chaining together operations that build toward completion of the conversation. Completion of the conversation results in completion of a request by a user.
(FR) L'invention concerne un moteur de conversation qui peut être utilisé dans un système tel qu'un assistant numérique personnel ou un moteur de recherche qui combine un graphe de connaissances dynamiques construit pendant l'exécution d'une demande et un ou plusieurs graphes de connaissances statiques conservant des connaissances à long terme. Le moteur de conversation comprend un dispositif de suivi d'état qui maintient le graphe de connaissances dynamiques représentant l'état actuel de la conversation, un moteur de politique qui sélectionne des entités dans le graphe de connaissances dynamiques et exécute des actions fournies par ces entités pour déplacer l'état de la conversation vers l'achèvement, et un moteur de recherche de graphe de connaissances pour rechercher le(s) graphe(s) de connaissances statiques. La conversation est achevée par construction du graphe de connaissances dynamiques sur de multiples cycles et chaînage d'opérations qui s'accumulent vers l'achèvement de la conversation. L'achèvement de la conversation aboutit à l'achèvement d'une demande par un utilisateur.
