Abstract:
(EN) Described herein are reinforced thermoplastic polymer compositions including a flat, low- dielectric glass ("D-glass") fiber. D-glass fiber compositions with a flat morphology provide for polymer compositions having significantly reduced shrinkage and excellent mechanical and dielectric performance. While the flat D-glass fibers can be desirably incorporated into polyester polymers, poly(aryl ether sulfone) polymers, poly(aryl ether ketone) polymers and a polyphenylene sulfide polymers.
(FR) L'invention concerne des compositions polymères thermoplastiques renforcées comprenant une fibre de verre plate à faible constante diélectrique ("verre D"). Des compositions de fibres de verre D ayant une morphologie plate permettent d'obtenir des compositions polymères ayant un retrait significativement réduit et d'excellentes performances mécaniques et diélectriques. Les fibres de verre D plates peuvent être avantageusement incorporées dans des polymères de polyester, des polymères de poly (aryléthersulfone), des polymères de poly(aryléthercétone) et des polymères de poly (sulfure de phénylène).
