Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure generally relates to a barometric instrument (100) and method (200). The barometric instrument (100) comprises: a base (102); a plurality of pressure sensors (104) distributed on the base (102), each pressure sensor (104) representing a sensor position and configured for measuring a set of atmospheric pressure values at the respective sensor position; a gimbal assembly coupled to the base (102) for maintaining the pressure sensors (104) horizontally; and a processor (106) communicatively linked to the pressure sensors (104), the processor (106) configured for determining atmospheric pressure distribution on the sensor positions based on the measured sets of atmospheric pressure values, the atmospheric pressure distribution comprising a pressure gradient directed horizontally along the sensor positions.
(FR) La présente invention concerne de manière générale un instrument barométrique (100) et un procédé (200). L'instrument barométrique (100) comprend : une base (102) ; une pluralité de capteurs de pression (104) répartis sur la base (102), chaque capteur de pression (104) représentant une position de capteur et étant conçu pour mesurer un ensemble de valeurs de pression atmosphérique au niveau de la position de capteur respective ; un ensemble cardan accouplé à la base (102) pour maintenir les capteurs de pression (104) horizontalement ; et un processeur (106) relié en communication aux capteurs de pression (104), le processeur (106) étant conçu pour déterminer une distribution de pression atmosphérique sur les positions de capteur sur la base des ensembles mesurés de valeurs de pression atmosphérique, la distribution de pression atmosphérique comprenant un gradient de pression dirigé horizontalement le long des positions de capteur.
