Abstract:
(EN) Embodiments include devices and methods for processing data packets including a data frame defined according to IEEE 802.1 Time Sensitive Networking standards. It is proposed to use the source MAC address field of the header of the so defined data frames in order to include an error detection mechanism that provide coverage for the header of the data frames. Thereafter, cut-through switching method can be used by engaging in the forwarding process soon after the destination MAC address of the data frame has been examined and error detection on the header of the data frame is successful.
(FR) Des modes de réalisation comprennent des dispositifs et des procédés de traitement de paquets de données comprenant une trame de données définie selon les normes de réseautage sensible au temps IEEE 802.1. Il est proposé d'utiliser le champ d'adresse MAC source de l'en-tête des trames de données ainsi définies afin d'inclure un mécanisme de détection d'erreur qui fournit une couverture pour l'en-tête des trames de données. Ensuite, le procédé de commutation par coupure peut être utilisé en s'engageant dans le processus de transfert dès que l'adresse MAC de destination de la trame de données a été examinée et que la détection d'erreur sur l'en-tête de la trame de données est réussie.
