Abstract:
(EN) For an image forming apparatus including first and second storage chambers, an inequality expression of "R2 > A × R1" is met. R1 is a sum of a passage resistance value obtained by flowing air through a first air communication portion and a passage resistance value obtained by flowing liquid through a supply portion. R2 is a passage resistance value obtained by flowing air through a second air communication portion. A is a cross-sectional area ratio obtained by dividing a first average cross-sectional area of a first space of the first storage chamber taken along a plurality of horizontal planes by a second average cross-sectional area of a second space of the second storage chamber taken along the plurality of horizontal planes. The first space contains at least a portion adjacent to the supply portion and accumulating the liquid. The second space contains at least a portion accumulating the liquid.
(FR) Dans le cadre de la présente invention, pour un appareil de formation d'image comprenant des première et seconde chambres de stockage, l'expression d'inégalité « R2 > A × R1 » est satisfaite. R1 est une somme d'une valeur de résistance de passage obtenue par écoulement d'air à travers une première partie de communication d'air et une valeur de résistance de passage obtenue par écoulement de liquide à travers une partie d'alimentation. R2 est une valeur de résistance de passage obtenue par écoulement d'air à travers une seconde partie de communication d'air. A est un rapport de surface de section transversale obtenu en divisant une première aire de section transversale moyenne d'un premier espace de la première chambre de stockage prise le long d'une pluralité de plans horizontaux par une seconde aire de section transversale moyenne d'un second espace de la seconde chambre de stockage prise le long de la pluralité de plans horizontaux. Le premier espace contient au moins une partie adjacente à la partie d'alimentation et accumulant le liquide. Le second espace contient au moins une partie accumulant le liquide.
