Abstract:
(EN) A system for preventing cyber security attacks over the CAN bus of a vehicle, from carrying out their plot. The system includes a teleprocessing device that is provided with the message identifier of at least one ECU to be blocked. The teleprocessing device is configured to read the message identifier of CAN messages, to thereby identify the at least one ECU to be blocked. Upon determining that the vehicle is under a cyber security attack, the ECU blocking device is activated. Upon identifying that a message was transmitted by the at least one ECU to be blocked, then during the CAN bus 'bit monitoring' process, before the at least one ECU to be blocked reads back the transmitted signal, the ECU blocking device alters one or more bits of the transmitted signal, to thereby force the message to be an erroneous CAN message.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système destiné à empêcher des attaques de cybersécurité sur le bus CAN d'un véhicule de mettre leur projet à exécution. Le système comprend un dispositif de télétraitement auquel est fourni l'identifiant de message d'au moins un bloc de commande électronique (ECU) à bloquer. Le dispositif de télétraitement est configuré pour lire l'identifiant de message de messages CAN, afin d'identifier ainsi l'au moins un ECU à bloquer. Lorsqu'il est déterminé que le véhicule est soumis à une attaque de cybersécurité, un dispositif de blocage d'ECU est activé. Lorsqu'il est identifié qu'un message a été émis par l'au moins un ECU à bloquer, alors pendant le processus de « surveillance de bits » du bus CAN, avant que l'au moins un ECU à bloquer ne lise le signal émis, le dispositif de blocage d'ECU modifie un ou plusieurs bits du signal émis, afin de forcer ainsi le message à être un message CAN erroné.
