Abstract:
(EN) Systems and methods for monitoring and restoring lead acid batteries using pulse charging are disclosed. A method of monitoring and restoring a Lead Acid Battery includes charging a lead acid battery using direct current (DC) from a battery monitoring and restoration system during a first DC charging phase, monitoring the crystallization level of the lead acid battery using information captured by a current sensor in the battery monitoring and restoration system, and switching to charging using pulse charging during a pulse charging phase when the crystallization level is detected as reaching a predetermined crystallization threshold.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de surveillance et de restauration de batteries au plomb-acide à l'aide d'une charge par impulsions. Un procédé de surveillance et de restauration d'une batterie au plomb-acide consiste à charger une batterie au plomb-acide à l'aide d'un courant continu (CC) provenant d'un système de surveillance et de restauration de batterie pendant une première phase de charge en courant continu, à surveiller le niveau de cristallisation de la batterie au plomb-acide à l'aide d'informations capturées par un capteur de courant dans le système de surveillance et de restauration de batterie, et à commuter vers la charge à l'aide d'une charge par impulsions pendant une phase de charge par impulsions lorsque le niveau de cristallisation est détecté comme atteignant un seuil de cristallisation prédéterminé.
