Abstract:
(EN) The present disclosure includes systems and methods for removing sulfur compounds from a gas. The gas contacts the olivine doped zinc oxide at reaction conditions sufficient to form zinc sulfide and a product comprising primarily desulfurized gas. The olivine doped zinc oxide can be regenerated and recycled for desulfurization. By using olivine doped zinc oxide, the desulfurization can be performed at temperatures above 500°C with minimum zinc oxide evaporation. Furthermore, the material costs are reduced when olivine doped zinc oxide is used as the absorbent for removing sulfur compounds.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés d'élimination de composés sulfurés d'un gaz. Le gaz entre en contact avec l'oxyde de zinc dopé à l'olivine dans des conditions de réaction satisfaisantes pour former du sulfure de zinc et un produit comprenant principalement du gaz désulfuré. L'oxyde de zinc dopé à l'olivine peut être régénéré et recyclé pour la désulfuration. Grâce à l'utilisation de l'oxyde de zinc dopé à l'olivine, la désulfuration peut être effectuée à des températures supérieures à 500 °C avec une évaporation minimale d'oxyde de zinc. En outre, les coûts de matériau sont réduits lorsque de l'oxyde de zinc dopé à l'olivine est utilisé en tant qu'absorbant pour éliminer les composés sulfurés.
