Abstract:
(EN) A compact SCR device is provided for use with a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) injection system having multiple injectors for providing diesel exhaust fluid to exhaust gas to reduce NOx emissions. The DEF injectors are disposed in the close coupled SCR mixer. A first injector injects into a chamber of the mixer with sidewardly oriented impingement plates having openings. A second injector radially spaced and offset has a different angle from the first injector for injecting DEF into the SCR mixer. A swirl plate forces the exhaust gas in the flow path to turn and exit through an outlet opening. An inlet opening for the mixer is aligned transversely near the first injector and is offset from the outlet opening. Thus, upon entering the compact SCR mixer, the exhaust gas must change direction and passes by at least one injector and impingement plates having flaps and openings before exiting the mixer.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif SCR compact destiné à être utilisé avec un système d'injection de fluide d'échappement des diesels (DEF) ayant de multiples injecteurs pour fournir un fluide d'échappement diesel à un gaz d'échappement pour réduire les émissions de NOx. Les injecteurs de DEF sont disposés dans le mélangeur SCR couplé à proximité. Un premier injecteur apporte dans une chambre du mélangeur des plaques d'impact orientées latéralement ayant des ouvertures. Un second injecteur espacé radialement et décalé prend un angle différent du premier injecteur pour l'injection du DEF dans le mélangeur RCS. Une plaque de turbulence force le gaz d'échappement dans le trajet d'écoulement à se tourner et à sortir par une ouverture de sortie. Une ouverture d'entrée pour le mélangeur est alignée transversalement à proximité du premier injecteur et est décalée par rapport à l'ouverture de sortie. Ainsi, lors de l'entrée dans le mélangeur SCR compact, le gaz d'échappement doit changer de direction et passe par au moins un injecteur et des plaques d'impact ayant des rabats et des ouvertures avant de sortir du mélangeur.
