Abstract:
(EN) Visible light can be used to inactivate certain microorganisms; by exploiting this phenomenon it is possible to provide bioreactors which offer control of microbial contamination through the use of visible light (otherwise known as "photodynamic control of contamination"). Disclosed is a bioreactor comprising a light source emitting light at a wavelength and/or intensity suitable to inactivate one or more microorganisms.
(FR) La lumière visible peut être utilisée pour inactiver certains micro-organismes ; en exploitant ce phénomène, il est possible de fournir des bioréacteurs qui permettent un contrôle de la contamination microbienne par l'intermédiaire de l'utilisation de lumière visible (autrement appelé "contrôle photodynamique de la contamination"). L'invention concerne un bioréacteur comprenant une source de lumière émettant de la lumière à une longueur d'onde et/ou une intensité appropriée(s) pour inactiver un ou plusieurs micro-organismes.
