Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a device with variable diffusion by liquid crystals (100) having a first electrode (2); an electroactive layer (3); a second electrode (2'). It comprises between the first electrode and the electroactive layer a first transparent polymeric barrier layer (4) of thickness E1 and an optional second transparent polymeric barrier layer of thickness E2 between the second electrode and the electroactive layer, E1 being non-zero and at least 1μm and E1+E2 being at most 40μm. The first polymeric barrier layer bears the first electrode or the first electrode is on a first dielectric substrate (1). The optional second polymeric barrier layer bears the second electrode or the second electrode is on a second dielectric substrate (1').
(FR) La présente invention propose un dispositif à diffusion variable par cristaux liquides (100,) comportant une première électrode (2); une couche électroactive (3), une deuxième électrode (2'). Il comprend entre la première électrode et la couche électroactive une première couche barrière polymérique (4) transparente d'épaisseur E1 et éventuellement entre la deuxième électrode et la couche électroactive une deuxième couche barrière polymérique transparente d'épaisseur E2, E1 étant non nulle et d'au moins 1µm et E1+E2étant d'au plus 40µm. La première couche barrière polymérique est porteuse de la première électrode ou la première électrode est sur un premier substrat diélectrique(1). La deuxième couche barrière polymérique éventuelle est porteuse de la deuxième électrode ou la deuxième électrode est sur un deuxième substrat diélectrique (1').
