Title (EN) METHOD FOR KEEPING CHLORELLA ALIVE AND FRESH FOR CONSUMPTION THEREOF
(FR) PROCÉDÉ DE CONSERVATION DE LA CHLORELLE VIVANTE ET FRAÎCHE EN VUE DE SA CONSOMMATION
Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method for keeping chlorella alive and fresh for consumption thereof. According to the invention, such a method is characterised in that it involves exposing a chlorella concentrate (24), comprising between 20 x 106 and 109 cells per millimetre, to a light source (10), while moving (28) said concentrate, so as to place this chlorella concentrate in a stress situation so that it produces its metabolism itself, namely chlorelline, which will protect its concentration medium and thus extend the duration during which the chlorella charged with chlorelline can be consumed. Applicable to human and animal food.
