Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to an electrical converter (1), having a power semiconductor switch (2) having a wide band gap made from GaN or from InGaN, a carrier element (3) for mechanically receiving the power semiconductor switch (2) and a housing (4) inside whose housing inner space (5) the carrier element (3) with the power semiconductor switch (2) is arranged, wherein the power semiconductor switch (2), during operation of the electrical converter (1), is operated with a blocking voltage of at least 400 V and with a clock frequency of at least 40 kHz, and at least 60% to 90% of the heat losses arising through the power semiconductor switch (2) are dissipated as first heat losses (6), for cooling purposes, to a gaseous surrounding medium (7) inside the housing inner space (5).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un convertisseur électrique (1), comprenant un commutateur statique de puissance (2) présentant une grande largeur de bande interdite en GaN ou en InGaN, un élément support (3) pour la réception mécanique du commutateur statique de puissance (2) et un boîtier (4) dans l’espace intérieur (5) duquel sont disposés l’élément support (3) et le commutateur statique de puissance (2). Lors du fonctionnement du convertisseur électrique (1), le commutateur statique de puissance (2) fonctionne avec une tension inverse limite d’au moins 400 V et à fréquence de cadence d’au moins 40 kHz. Au moins 60 % jusqu’à 90 % de la chaleur dissipée produite par le commutateur statique de puissance (2) sont évacués en tant que première chaleur dissipée (6) aux fins de refroidissement vers un milieu ambiant gazéiforme (7) dans l’espace intérieur (5) de boîtier.
(DE) Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischen Umrichter (1), aufweisend einen Leistungshalbleiterschalter (2) mit breitem Bandabstand aus GaN oder aus InGaN, ein Trägerelement (3) zur mechanischen Aufnahme des Leistungshalbleiterschalters (2) und ein Gehäuse (4), in dessen Gehäuseinnenraum (5) das Trägerelement (3) mit dem Leistungshalbleiterschalter (2) angeordnet ist, wobei der Leistungshalbleiterschalter (2) im Betrieb des elektrischen Umrichters (1) mit einer Sperrspannung von mindestens 400V und mit einer Taktfrequenz von mindestens 40kHz betrieben wird und mindestens 60% bis zu 90% der durch den Leistungshalbleiterschalter (2) entstehenden Verlustwärme als eine erste Verlustwärme (6) zur Entwärmung an ein gasförmiges Umgebungsmedium (7) innerhalb des Gehäuseinnenraums (5) abgeführt wird.
