Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a new high-throughput process for reducing impurities in essential oils and extracts (in particular for fragrances, fragrance ingredients, flavours and cosmetic ingredients) under mild conditions. Undesirable natural components such as waxes, but also synthetic materials such as agrochemicals and other environmental pollutants are reduced by using at least one selective nanofiltration membrane. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for reducing coloured components in essential oils to obtain a less coloured or even colourless essential oil, while achieving high re-colouration stability over time. Further, the odour quality is maintained or increased through reduction of undesirable olfactory substances to achieve a purified and higher quality oil.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé à haut rendement permettant de réduire les impuretés dans des huiles essentielles et des extraits (en particulier pour des parfums, des ingrédients de parfum, des arômes et des ingrédients cosmétiques) dans des conditions douces. Des constituants naturels indésirables tels que des cires, mais également des matériaux synthétiques tels que des produits agrochimiques et d'autres polluants environnementaux sont réduits à l'aide d'au moins une membrane de nanofiltration sélective. De plus, la présente invention concerne un procédé de réduction de constituants colorés dans des huiles essentielles pour obtenir une huile essentielle moins colorée voire incolore, tout en obtenant une stabilité élevée à la recoloration au fil du temps. En outre, la qualité des odeurs est maintenue ou augmentée par la réduction de substances olfactives indésirables pour obtenir une huile purifiée et de qualité supérieure.
