Abstract:
(EN) Plasma applicator (8) for the treatment of a gas (1) in a field space (17) which is formed by way of the application of an alternating voltage between an outer electrode (10) and an inner electrode (9), comprising a gas inlet and a gas outlet for the introduction of gas (1) to be treated into the field space (17), an inner electrode (9) which is arranged between the gas inlet and the gas outlet, a tubular outer electrode (10) which surrounds the inner electrode at a spacing, and a dielectric insulator (11) which is arranged at least between the inner electrode (9) and the outer electrode (10), wherein the inner electrode is configured as a hollow tube with at least one gas inlet opening and at least one gas outlet opening, in such a way that, during operation, part of the gas which is guided into the plasma applicator flows through an interior chamber (24) which is formed in the inner electrode.
