Abstract:
(EN) An extrusion apparatus for fabricating a three-dimensional (3D) object from a viscous material feedstock includes a nozzle that deposits the viscous material to build the 3D object, a viscous material delivery system that delivers the viscous material to the nozzle; and a curing apparatus associated with the nozzle that produces curing energy and focusses the curing energy at the nozzle tip to initiate curing of the viscous material as it exits the nozzle. The viscous material feedstock includes the build material and a binder that may be activated (i.e., cured) through the exposure to the curing energy such as heat and/or light. Embodiments may be implemented in a 3D printer, and provide rapid fabrication of casting molds and components of casting molds that are ready for casting, or metal powder green objects that are ready for debinding and sintering.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil d'extrusion pour fabriquer un objet tridimensionnel (3D) à partir d'une charge de matériau visqueux, comprenant une buse qui dépose le matériau visqueux pour construire l'objet 3D, un système de distribution de matériau visqueux qui distribue le matériau visqueux à la buse ; et un appareil de durcissement associé à la buse qui produit de l'énergie de durcissement et focalise l'énergie de durcissement au niveau de la pointe de buse pour initier le durcissement du matériau visqueux lorsqu'il sort de la buse. La charge de matière visqueuse comprend le matériau de construction et un liant qui peut être activé (c'est-à-dire durci) par exposition à l'énergie de durcissement telle que la chaleur et/ou la lumière. Des modes de réalisation peuvent être mis en œuvre dans une imprimante 3D et permettent une fabrication rapide de moules de coulée et de composants de moules de coulée qui sont prêts au coulage ou des objets crus en poudre métallique qui sont prêts au déliantage et au frittage.
