Abstract:
(EN) An optical sensing element for use in the detection of hydrogen peroxide, the sensing element comprising a sensing compound provided as a coating on a substrate. The sensing compound, on exposure to hydrogen peroxide, forms a luminescent reporter compound when excited with stimulating radiation at a predetermined wavelength that the sensing compound does not absorb.
(FR) L'invention concerne un élément de détection optique destiné à être utilisé dans la détection de peroxyde d'hydrogène, l'élément de détection comprenant un composé de détection fourni sous forme d'un revêtement sur un substrat. Le composé de détection, une fois exposé au peroxyde d'hydrogène, forme un composé rapporteur luminescent lorsqu'il est excité par un rayonnement de stimulation à une longueur d'onde prédéterminée que le composé de détection n'absorbe pas.
