Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a solution to the drawbacks of cosmetic preservatives by designing a preservative system that is able to slowly release the molecule with antimicrobial activity and is soluble and active in aqueous media at a pH higher than 5, which is the pH generally found for products with cosmetic applications. To arrive at said solution, the principles of complex formation between small molecules of an electrolytic nature, for example the preservative benzoic acid and cationic polyelectrolytes, of a basic nature, in which new chemical entities are obtained via chemical (especially ionic) interactions, were used.
(FR) La présente invention offre une solution aux limitations des conservateurs cosmétiques, par la conception d'un système conservateur pouvant libérer lentement la molécule à activité antimicrobienne et pouvant être soluble et actif dans des milieux aqueux à des pH supérieurs à 5, pH auquel en général on trouve les produits ayant des applications cosmétiques. Pour ce faire, on utilise les principes de la formation de complexes entre des petites molécules, de nature électrolytique, par exemple, le conservateur acide benzoïque et des polyélectrolytes cationiques, de nature basique dans lesquels, au moyen d'interactions chimiques (spécialement ioniques), on obtient de nouvelles entités chimiques.
(ES) La presente invención ofrece una solución a las limitaciones de los preservantes cosméticos, a través del diseño de un sistema preservante capaz de liberar lentamente la molécula con actividad antimicrobiana y ser soluble y activo en medios acuosos a pH superiores a 5, pH donde generalmente se encuentran los productos con aplicaciones cosméticas. Para llegar a ello se emplearon los principios de la formación de complejos entre moléculas pequeñas, de naturaleza electrolítica, por ejemplo, el preservante ácido benzoico y polielectrolitos catiónicos, de carácter básico en los que mediante interacciones químicas (especialmente iónicas), se obtienen nuevas entidades químicas.
