Abstract
(EN) The present application solves the exisiting problem of using very expensive oxidation reagents, such as H2O2 and ozone, in removal of NOx and SOx from the flue gases, by performing the NOx and SOx oxidation with atmospheric oxygen. The combined system for catalytic oxidation and wet-scrubbing of simultaneously both NOx and SOx from a flue gas and manufacturing fertilisers, comprises: (a) an air separation unit for separating atmospheric oxygen from air and thereby producing an air stream substantially enriched with atmospheric oxygen for oxidation of NOx and SOx, (b) an adsorption and oxidation reactor containing an oxidation catalyst and designed to receive said air stream and a flue gas stream containing NOx and SOx, to adsorb said streamed gases, and then to carry out the catalytic oxidation of said NOx and SOx by said oxygen to yield nitric and sulphuric acids, (c) a separator and reactor control unit for separation of products and liquids and controlling said catalytic oxidation and wet-scrubbing; and (d) a vessel containing gas or liquid ammonia, connected to said adsorption and oxidation reactor or to said separator and reactor control unit, and streaming said ammonia into the adsorption and oxidation reactor or into the separator and reactor control unit to react with the nitric and sulphuric acids and to yield ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulphate fertilisers.
(FR) La présente invention résout le problème existant concernant l'utilisation de réactifs d'oxydation très onéreux, tels que le H2O2 et l'ozone, pour l'élimination des NOx et des SOx des gaz de combustion, au moyen de l'oxydation des NOx et des SOx avec de l'oxygène atmosphérique. Le système combiné destiné à l'oxydation catalytique et à l'épuration par voie humide des NOx et des SOx simultanément à partir d'un gaz de combustion, et à la fabrication d'engrais, comprend : (a) une unité de séparation d'air destinée à séparer l'oxygène atmosphérique de l'air et à produire ainsi un courant d'air sensiblement enrichi en oxygène atmosphérique pour l'oxydation des NOx et des SOx, (b) un réacteur d'adsorption et d'oxydation contenant un catalyseur d'oxydation et conçu pour recevoir ledit courant d'air et un courant de gaz de combustion contenant des NOx et des SOx, afin d'adsorber lesdits gaz dans le courant, puis pour effectuer l'oxydation catalytique des NOx et des SOx avec ledit oxygène afin de produire des acides nitrique et sulfurique, (c) une unité de commande de séparateur et de réacteur pour la séparation des produits et des liquides et la commande de l'oxydation catalytique et de l'épuration par voie humide, et (d) un récipient contenant de l'ammoniac gazeux ou liquide, relié au réacteur d'adsorption et d'oxydation ou à l'unité de commande de séparateur et de réacteur, et destiné à faire couler l'ammoniac vers le réacteur d'adsorption et d'oxydation ou vers l'unité de commande de séparateur et de réacteur en vue de réagir avec les acides nitrique et sulfurique et de produire des engrais à base de nitrate d'ammonium et de sulfate d'ammonium.
