Provided is a gasket for a secondary battery, with which an optimal sealing surface is formed even if there is variance in spacing (fastening margin) for when a plurality of stack members are stacked together, stable sealing performance can be achieved, and expansion of seal width during compression of a seal body can be kept to a minimum. A gasket 1 for a secondary battery, which is arranged between stack members of a secondary battery, wherein the gasket comprises: a flat frame body 2 of a shape that runs along an outer peripheral-side site to be sealed of stack members 201; and an annular seal body 4 that is composed of an elastic material and fixed to a seal-side edge section of the frame body, the seal body including a seal bead section 4a which is formed along the entire periphery of the seal-side edge section 3 with the thickness greater than an interval between adjacent stack members 201 and which includes at least one annular recessed line section 4b along the entire periphery of the seal-side edge section 3.
