Title (EN) MEDICAL DEVICE BENDING DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
(FR) DISPOSITIF DE FLEXION DE DISPOSITIF MÉDICAL, ET PROCÉDÉS D'UTILISATION
Abstract:
(EN) Medical device bending devices (100) and methods of use are disclosed herein. An embodiment (100) includes a body (104), a handle (108) in rotatable relationship with the body (104), and a head (106) that is coupled with the handle (106) in such a way that when the handle is rotated the head (106) is drawn at least partially into the body (104) and towards the handle (108). A terminal end (120) of the body (104) that is opposite of the handle (108) and the head (106) cooperate as a vise (122) that bends opposing arms of a surgical staple (146) from an inwardly angled configuration to a parallel configuration, or at angles therebetween, when a crown of the surgical staple (146) is clamped in the vise (122).
