Abstract:
(EN) This software update device includes: a communication unit connected to software-executing electronic equipment; and a wakeup-signal-receiving unit. When a wakeup request is received from a preregistered wireless access point, the wakeup-signal-receiving unit causes the communication unit to transition from a sleep state to a wakeup state. When the transition is made to the wakeup state, the communication unit begins wireless communication with an external device, and uses update software received from the external device to update the software on the electronic equipment.
(FR) Selon la présente invention, ce dispositif de mise à jour de logiciel comprend : une unité de communication connectée à un équipement électronique exécutant un logiciel; et une unité de réception de signal d'activation. Lorsqu'une demande d'activation est reçue d'un point d'accès sans fil pré-enregistré, l'unité de réception de signal d'activation amène l'unité de communication à passer d'un état de veille à un état d'activation. Lorsque la transition est faite à l'état d'activation, l'unité de communication commence une communication sans fil avec un dispositif externe, et utilise un logiciel de mise à jour reçu en provenance du dispositif externe afin de mettre à jour le logiciel sur l'équipement électronique.
(JA) ソフトウェア更新装置は、ソフトウェアを実行する電子機器に接続された通信ユニットと、ウェイクアップ受信ユニットとを含む。ウェイクアップ受信ユニットは、予め登録された無線アクセスポイントからウェイクアップ要求を受信すると、通信ユニットをスリープ状態からウェイクアップ状態に遷移させる。通信ユニットは、ウェイクアップ状態に遷移すると、外部装置との無線通信を開始し、外部装置から受信した更新ソフトウェアによって電子機器のソフトウェアを更新する。
