Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a method for preparing an electrode comprising a metal substrate, vertically aligned carbon nanotubes and a metal oxide deposited over the entire length of said vertically aligned carbon nanotubes, said method comprising the following consecutive steps: (a) synthesising, on a metal substrate, a mat of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes; (b) electrochemically depositing the metal oxide on said carbon nanotubes from an electrolytic solution comprising at least one precursor of said metal oxide and at least one nitrate, said electrochemical deposition being carried out by a chronopotentiometry technique. The present invention also relates to the electrode thus prepared and to the uses thereof.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la préparation d'une électrode comprenant un support métallique, des nanotubes de carbone verticalement alignés et un oxyde métallique déposé sur toute la longueur desdits nanotubes de carbone verticalement alignés, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes successives suivantes: (a) synthétiser, sur un support métallique, un tapis de nanotubes de carbone verticalement alignés; (b) déposer électrochimiquement ledit oxyde métallique sur lesdits nanotubes de carbone à partir d'une solution électrolytique comprenant au moins un précurseur dudit oxyde métallique et au moins un nitrate, ledit dépôt électrochimique étant réalisé par une technique chronopotentiométrique.La présente invention concerne également l'électrode ainsi préparée et ses utilisations.
