Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a process for the manufacturing of 3D reduced graphene oxide/Fe2O3 material which comprises: (i) putting in contact a graphene oxide (GO) water dispersion with an aqueous solution of iron(II) sulfate; (ii) hydrothermal treatment; (iii) freezing the reaction product obtained in step (ii) at a temperature ≤ -5º C; and (iv) lyophilisation. The invention also relates to the 3D reduced graphene oxide/Fe2O3 material obtainable by the process, to electrodes for CDI devices comprising said material, and to a method for removing ions from a fluid, like saline water, using the capacitive deionization device of the invention, which includes applying a voltage to the electrodes while supplying said fluid into the capacitive deionization device.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau 3D oxyde de graphène réduit/Fe2O3 qui comprend : (i) la mise en contact d'une dispersion aqueuse d'un oxyde de graphène (GO) avec une solution aqueuse de sulfate de fer (II) ; (ii) un traitement hydrothermique ; (iii) une congélation du produit de réaction obtenu à l'étape (ii) à une température ≤ -5 °C ; et (iv) une lyophilisation. L'invention concerne également le matériau 3D oxyde de graphène réduit/Fe2O3 pouvant être obtenu par le procédé, des électrodes pour des dispositifs CDI comprenant ledit matériau, et une méthode d'élimination d'ions d'un fluide, comme de l'eau salée, à l'aide du dispositif de désionisation capacitive de l'invention, qui comprend l'application d'une tension aux électrodes tout en fournissant ledit fluide dans le dispositif de désionisation capacitive.
