Abstract:
(EN) The low-temperature turbocompressor structural arrangement for an internal combustion engine is a system for using the energy that is available but unused during operation of an internal combustion engine, for cooling the air supplied to said engine by supercharging, applicable to internal combustion engines of any type. The temperature of the air compressed by the compressor is reduced by a cooling system and the air is then conveyed to a further turbine actuated by the intake air flow of the engine, affording the benefits of enhancing engine performance levels, which may be used in order to obtain greater power or reduce consumption, since the denser air allows more fuel into the combustion chamber, achieving greater combustion, which increases the power-to-weight ratio, and the cooler air allows work at more aggressive compression and/or ignition advance ratios without problems of pre-ignition/pinking, thereby enhancing engine performance levels. The structural arrangement may be mounted in the integral form thereof or in partial forms, and also each component may be fitted into existing systems.
(FR) L'invention, intitulée "Agencement structural appliqué à un turbocompresseur basse température pour moteur à combustion interne", consiste en un système d'utilisation de l'énergie disponible mais non utilisée dans le fonctionnement d'un moteur à combustion interne pour le refroidissement de l'air fourni audit moteur par suralimentation, pouvant être mis en oeuvre dans des moteurs à combustion interne de type quelconque. L’air comprimé par le compresseur présentant une température réduite par un système de refroidissement et est alors acheminé vers une nouvelle turbine actionnée par le flux de l’air d’admission du moteur. Il en résulte avantageusement une augmentation du rendement du moteur, ce qui peut être utilisé pour obtenir une puissance accrue ou une réduction de la consommation, de l’air plus dense permettant d’introduire plus de carburant dans la chambre de combustion et d’obtenir une combustion plus importante, ce qui augmente la puissance spécifique, de l’air plus froid permettant un fonctionnement à des taux de compression et/ou des avancées d’allumage plus agressifs sans problèmes de pré-allumage/détonation, d’où une augmentation du rendement du moteur. Cet agencement structural peut être monté dans sa formation intégrale ou en formations partielles, chaque composant pouvant en outre être adapté dans des systèmes pré-existants.
(PT) "Disposição construtiva em turbocompressor de baixa temperatura para motor de combustão interna" é um sistema de uso da energia disponível porém não utilizada no funcionamento de um motor a combustão interna para resfriamento do ar fornecidos ao mesmo motor por sobrealimentação, aplicável em motores de combustão interna de qualquer natureza. O ar comprimido pelo compressor tem a temperatura reduzida por um sistema de arrefecimento e então é encaminhado a uma nova turbina acionada pelo fluxo do ar de admissão do motor, com os beneficios de aumentar o rendimento do motor, o que pode ser usado para obter mais potência ou redução de consumo, pois o ar mais denso permite que se coloque mais combustível dentro da câmara de combustão e se consiga uma combustão maior, o que aumenta a potência especifica, e o ar mais frio permite que se trabalhe com razões de compressão e/ou avanços de ignição mais agressivos sem que se tenha problemas de pré-ignição/detonação, o que aumenta o rendimento do motor. A disposição construtiva pode ser montada em sua formação integral ou em formações parciais, além de cada componente poder ser adaptado em sistemas preexistentes.
