Abstract:
(EN) Systems, computer program products and methods implementing access control on a distributed file system are described. A policy engine enforces one or more policies to access a data item stored in the distributed file system by utilizing non-system extended attributes of the data item. The policy engine receives, from a client device, a request to access the data item. The policy engine determines a policy for access the data item. The policy specifies one or more conditions for accessing the data item in one or more extended attributes. The one or more extended attributes are associated with the data item in the distributed file system. The policy determines whether to grant the request to access the data item according to values of the one or more extended attributes.
(FR) L'invention concerne des systèmes, des produits-programmes d'ordinateur et des procédés qui mettent en œuvre une commande d'accès sur un système de fichiers répartis. Un moteur de politique applique une ou plusieurs politiques pour accéder à un élément de données stocké dans le système de fichiers répartis en utilisant les attributs étendus non-système de l'élément de données. Le moteur de politique reçoit, d'un dispositif client, une demande d'accès à l'élément de données. Le moteur de politique détermine une politique d'accès à l'élément de données. La politique spécifie une ou plusieurs conditions permettant d'accéder à l'élément de données dans un ou plusieurs attributs étendus. L'attribut ou les attributs étendus sont associés à l'élément de données dans le système de fichiers répartis. La politique détermine s'il faut accorder la demande d'accès à l'élément de données en fonction des valeurs de l'attribut ou des attributs étendus.
