Abstract:
(EN) A number of sealants are provided that are resistant to degradation by aircraft fluids. In some embodiments, the sealants are resistant to degradation by Jet A fluid and at least one of the three types of hydraulic fluids typically used in aircraft. These embodiments are also typically cure in place from a two part polyurethane or polyurea mix, with cure to a visibly clear coating. In some embodiments, they may be sprayed on an aircraft surface or applied by hand (brush or injectable). In other of these embodiments, the sealants comprise, at least in part, a cured, soft, tacky polyurethane gel that is resistant to at least one of a synthetic hydrocarbon based or mineral oil based hydraulic fluid.
(FR) L'invention concerne un certain nombre de produits d'étanchéité qui sont résistants à la dégradation par des fluides d'aéronef. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les produits d'étanchéité sont résistants à la dégradation par un fluide de type Jet A et par au moins l'un des trois types de fluides hydrauliques habituellement utilisés dans un aéronef. Ces modes de réalisation sont également typiquement durcis sur place à partir d'un mélange de polyuréthane ou de polyurée en deux parties, le durcissement étant réalisé jusqu'à obtenir un revêtement visiblement transparent. Dans certains modes de réalisation, ils peuvent être pulvérisés sur une surface d'aéronef ou appliqués à la main (avec une brosse ou injectables). Dans d'autres de ces modes de réalisation, les produits d'étanchéité comprennent, au moins en partie, un gel de polyuréthane collant, mou et durci qui est résistant à un fluide hydraulique à base d'hydrocarbure synthétique et/ou à base d'huile minérale.
